    Responsibilities

    WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:

    • Responsible for issuing company credentials including, but not limited to: employee, contractor, intern, etc. with a high regard for customer service delivery to both internal and external customers.
    • Process and maintain files of required approval forms for each access card issued to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
    • Enter appropriate access levels into the access system based on strict controls and established procedures.
    • Provide access reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Manage walk-up Customer window in Badging Office with clear communication, factual information, and a hospitable demeanor
    • Maintain authorized DAL SIDA badge Signatory credentials and process all DAL requested audits, applications and requests
    • Traverse the many buildings on campus in badging oriented tasks
    • May serve as surge capacity for department service requests for security controlled systems.  
    • Know and protect all Southwest Airlines Corporate Facilities safety and security programs and policies

    Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.

     

    May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.

    Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

    Must be at least 18 years of age.

    Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

    EDUCATION:

    •  High school diploma or equivalency required.

    WORK EXPERIENCE: 

    • 2-3 years of customer service experience in an on demand and/or on call environment required.
    • Previous experience of maintaining technical databases or management of electronic files preferred.
    • Previous experience in a corporate facility security environment beneficial.

     

    SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

    • Ability to function in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines, juggle multiple tasks, and work as a Teamplayer with little supervision.
    • Ability to prioritize work with frequent interruptions and work under time constraints to accomplish assignments.
    • Ability to think beyond a tactical solution and anticipate the needs of downline impacts.
    • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency with emphasis on Excel and Word.
    • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information.  

    Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines. 

     

    OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Ability to work in an on call environment on an as needed basis.  Includes nights weekends and/or holidays.
    • Ability to travel with overnight stays. 

    Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
