    Leads and guides Team  to support them in executing their tasks and projects, while also providing necessary communication interdepartmentally to ensure supply chain processes are included and accounted for within a project



    • Ensures accurate documentation and records to support departmental reporting and performance management
    • Develops a competent, productive, knowledgeable, effective, and Customer Service-oriented Team by recruiting and hiring qualified applicants; provides training on departmental policies, procedures, and compliance
    • Assigns work responsibilities and evaluates the individual performance of the Team
    • Leads successful completion of competitive sourcing activities via web based tool or email
    • Negotiate and draft complex contracts
    • Identifies and collects cost saving initiatives, cost avoidance, and cost deferrals pertaining to contractual relationships
    • Lead cross-functional Teams for specific projects delivering significant budgetable savings and efficiencies on strategic projects and contract negotiations
    • Proactively ensures supplier compliance to contracts, corporate standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
    • Work with Supply Chain and Category Managers to identify and evaluate contract improvement initiatives though data driven analysis
    • Develops presentations and reporting for Supply Chain Managers, Suppliers, and other Sr. Leaders
    • Creates and implements project or work plans for assigned categories and holds others accountable to plan
    • Researches assigned categories and commodities for new developments

    Supply Chain Management:

    • Develops, monitors, and reviews policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Federal regulations, and Company standards and policies
    • Applies extensive knowledge of Supply Chain Management and processes to help Team provide best Customer Service and to continuously improve metrics
    • Ensures SOX regulation compliance by auditing and performing testing on internal systems and processes, taking appropriate action as necessary

    Performance Metrics:

    • Thoroughly documents performance metrics, compiles status reports, and conducts forecasting in order to provide Sr Leadership the reports and data needed to inform decision making and action steps
    • Provides timely communication to Team Members to build Team, develop trust, and promote cohesiveness
    • Provides timely feedback and training opportunities to develop Employees to better meet goals

    Project Leadership:

    • Compiles, coordinates, and implements project plans to ensure alignment with Sr. Leadership’s vision and to meet business objectives and timelines
    • Represents or Leads Supply Chain in interdepartmental projects to support Team
    • Supports Employees and provides guidance on prioritization of tasks; assists in troubleshooting issues/problems that arise

    • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.


    • Four-year undergraduate degree required; business administration; supply chain management; aviation logistics; finance; accounting; industrial engineering/distribution; economics; mechanical, electrical, chemical, or aerospace engineering; or degree in similar disciplines preferred
    • Can substitute five years of Supply Chain-related Project Management experience for degree
    • MBA or MS in above disciplines preferred 


    • Minimum three years of experience in a professional environment, such as supply chain, finance, accounting, engineering required
    • Two years of Leadership experience required
    • Minimum one year of experience in sourcing and contract negotiations preferred 


    • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM), Certified Green Purchasing Professional (CGPP), Certified Professional in Distribution and Warehousing (CPDW), Certificate in Procurement and Supply Operations (CPSO), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), or other equivalent Supply Chain Management certification preferred
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) strongly preferred
    • Lean-Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
    • A&P license strongly preferred


    • Ability to perform work duties from desk/office work area for extended periods of time 


    Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

    • Proficient analytical skills required
    • Highly-developed skills with MS Office Suite, especially Excel (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint, and data manipulation skills required
    • Possesses ability to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential information
    • Must demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity in all supplier relations
    • Must be skilled in performing difficult analysis, interpreting results, and providing effective recommendations
    • Determines and implements appropriate levers to achieve best price, balancing cost with operational considerations.

    • Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information
    • Ability to work flexible hours and meet deadlines successfully, at times with frequent interruptions; occasional weekend coverage required
    • Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport
    • Possible travel domestically and/or internationally 10-15%
