    Ensures that an emphasis on Safety is the highest operational priority in the NOC by maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and NOC Departmental strategy.  Monitors and reports to Director NOC Training, Compliance, Standards and Safety Assurance on all matters impacting Safety and regulatory compliance. Makes recommendations for corrective and preventative measures.



    • Provides regulatory oversight of all NOC  practices, facilities and training.
    • Accountable for NOC  Audit Program.  Including, but not limited to:      
    • Maintains an awareness of Audit Program activities and results.       
    • Maintains and updating all applicable Safety Attribute Inspections (SAIs) for NOC.       
    • Ensures corrective measures are implemented, and unresolved issues are tracked and forwarded, as required.       
    • Assists in evaluating Safety related reports and audits to determine trends and risks.
    • Schedules periodic meetings with the  Director NOC Training, Compliance, Standards and Safety Assurance and Director of Operations,
    • to discuss technical issues, trends, and concerns identified by the Audit Program.
    • Serves as the liaison for the NOC for voluntary disclosure cases when requested by the Director.  Including, but not limited to:
    • Assists in preparing voluntary reports and comprehensive fixes. 
    • Assigns a member of the Compliance Team to monitor any aspect of a voluntary disclosure case.
    • Attends meetings with the FAA personnel.      
    • Advises the Director on the status of any outstanding voluntary disclosure cases.
    • Serves as the liaison for the NOC, as assigned.  Including, but not limited to:     
    • Assists in preparing corrective actions reports.      
    • Assigns a member of the Compliance team to monitor any aspect of an Evaluation.      
    • Attends meetings with Safety Performance Team personnel.      
    • Advises the Director on the status of any Evaluation Findings, Observations or Recommendations.
    • Ensures the Audit Program personnel receive training in quality auditing, evaluation or pertinent management practices including SMS.
    • Participates in Safety meetings and continuing education programs, and maintains a close liaison with the FAA. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director NOC Systems.
    • Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.
    • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.





    • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.


    • High School diploma or equivalency required. College degree preferred.


    • Flight or Dispatch experience part 121.
    • Six years working with the FAA regarding regulatory compliance required.
    • Working knowledge of regulatory compliance required.  Aviation and/or Aerospace industry preferred
    • Internal Evaluation Program training preferred.
    • Three years of Leadership experience preferred.


    • Dispatcher or Pilot Certification perferred.
    • DOT SMS program certificate  preferred. 


    • Ability to lift and/or pull medium weight loads (approx. 25 lbs) on occasion. 


    • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
    • Must have knowledge and ability to apply SMS principles in the operation.
    • Must have knowledge and ability to apply IOSA compliance.
    • Must have experience managing and amending OpSpecs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
    • Must be able to apply SMS principles in the operation.
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.  Excellent interpersonal skills required to work in person, via telephone or in writing.  
    • Ability to identify the right people for the job and provides on-going coaching to ensure strong Teams. Coach and mentor Teammembers for and provide performance feedback for professional development.
    • Responsible for creating meeting agendas and overseeing staff meetings on a regular basis.
    • Ability to think strategically and understand the relationship between current actions and future consequences.   Ability to handle complex issues and work at a fast pace. 
    • Outstanding organizational skills with a strong attention to detail. 
    • Ability to manage sensitive situations while maintaining confidentiality.   
    • Job duties include, but are not limited to: detailed work, reading documents, problem solving, strict and demanding timelines, analytical thinking, Customer contact.   
    • Professional behavior will be expected on and after Company hours at Company events.
