Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Intern will work full-time as a Team member of the Maintenance Program Compliance Team. 

Task assignments will include:

 

  • Develop and maintain data analysis and querying applications through the use of Quickbase, Tableau, Alteryx, Access, Excel, and other self-help tools available for use by SWA Employees.
  • Develop and streamline data entry and dataflow procedures.
  • Accomplish reviews for the purposes of ensuring compliance and process improvement as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Assist Analysts in the review of various aspects of the aircraft acquisition process.
  • Update various databases with Analyst assignments.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

 

EDUCATION:

 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology, Aviation Management, Aviation Science, or a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline. Concentration in aviation related studies is preferred.
  • Minimum level accepted: Sophomore.
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours.)
  • Must be maintaining an overall GPA of 2.75.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) including strong excel skills

TIME COMMITMENT:

 

Full-time - 40 hours per week.

 

PAY:

 

$15/hr + flight privileges
