Responsibilities

Leads a team who are responsible for developing integrated channel plans leveraging a vast array of customer touchpoints within large scale marketing campaigns to deliver personalized and relevant messages at the right point in the Southwest journey to meet Customer needs and business goals as well as serve as a catalyst for channel innovation.

  • Recruits, develops, and retains individuals with skills, attitude, and experience necessary to enable the organization to meet goals/commitments
  • Displays knowledge of situational and strengths based leadership by providing continuous coaching to improve team performance and hold team accountable.
  • Recognizes and advocates for Team members and fosters their growth
  • Leads individual contributors within Marketing to drive and execute the Company’s strategic plan for high priority marketing campaigns and personalization.
  • Collaborates closely with other Marketing leaders and their teams as well as peers in other Departments to develop integrated channel strategies to build lasting Customer relationships and meet business goals.
  • Delivers clear, concise and focused communication with Team, Leaders and Partners and encourages candid communication within the Team
  • Builds plans and strategies in order to meet goals. 
  • Identifies evolving business needs, industry trends, and advancements in the field of Marketing; drives his or her team to adapt

May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Function specific degrees preferred
  • MBA/Master's preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 6 years experience in related field required
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects or direct People Leadership preferred

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

  • Strategic thinking skills, ability to see the big picture
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills required
  • Possesses strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Communicates effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Ability to establish and inspire trust within Team and Marketing department
  • Ability to gain commitment to shared goals with peers, team, and Marketing department
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in order to influence business decisions
  • Ability to demonstrate high emotional intelligence in various situations dealing with both internal and external resources
  • Ability to motivate, grow, and develop direct reports

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
