Responsibilities

 

Ground Operations is made up of many workgroups like: Ramp, Cargo, Customer Service & Provisioning. Provisioning is made up of Provisioning Agents who stock the Aircraft and all who support them.

 

The Provisioning Department provides operational support to all Provisioning locations with product needs, equipment and replacement needs, and cashless cabin support to name a few examples. We also ensure Quality Assurance (inspecting what we’re expecting) throughout the network to provide excellent Customer Service to both internal and external Customers.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Intern will work full-time as a Team member on the Provisioning Services Team. The Intern will support provisioning in the areas of Irregularity Responses, provides support to Provisioning Bases, assist with interfacing and updating the Provisioning Manual & Handbook, and development of digital slides for Employee communication.

 

Task assignments will include working on various size projects within the provisioning environment with development, change management, and implementation as it relates to Provisioning Employees. 

 

In addition to entering data into Excel the Intern will also be expected to compile, trend and analyze data to assist with department metrics. 

 

Candidate must be able to effectively communicate/present data to Leaders. 

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

 

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required. 

 

Must be at least 18 years of age.

 

Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

 

 

 

EDUCATION:

 

Progress toward degree, major, or minor in Business Administration, Finance, Business Intelligence, Supply Chain, or other Business related field preferred.

 

Minimum level accepted: Junior preferred

 

Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours.)

 

Must be maintaining an overall GPA of 2.5.

 

 

SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:

 

 Classroom and/or industry experience using one or more statistical software tools.

 

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

 

Strong Excel skills required (Pivot table, V-lookups, etc.)

 

Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as part of a Team.

 

Problem solving ability and strong written/verbal communications skills.

 

Ability to stay organized and manage multiple and concurrent assignments.

 

Works well in a culture that is open, direct, respectful, courteous and compassionate.

 

Quick learner, self-motivated, team oriented, with a sense of humor.

TIME COMMITMENT:

 

Full-time minimum 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday.)

 

PAY:

 

$15.00 per hour + flight privileges
