The Experiential Marketing and Sponsorships Intern will work on the Experiential Marketing and Sponsorships Team in our Marketing Department. The Experiential Marketing and Sponsorships Team objective is to create demand for the brand by engaging current and potential Customers through the development of and participation in locally relevant promotions, events, and sponsorships. The Team works with Partners within defined target markets and also prominent national marketing Partnerships.
The Intern will be exposed to numerous marketing activities in the Marketing Department including working with Agency Team on concept ideation and promotion campaign development, program development and execution, Partnership management, and event sponsorships and sports sponsorships.
The Intern will assist in various projects including, but not limited to:
Promotion/sweepstakes development and fulfillment.
Drafting letters of agreement.
Supporting activation execution.
Sourcing branded premiums.
Routing creative and legal documents for approvals.
Market and competitive research.
Contributing to the strategy of current promotional activities.
Responding to Partnership/sponsorship inquiries.
Attend meetings and work collaboratively with cross-functional Teams across the organization in order to achieve project objectives.
Some travel as needed.
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Progress towards degree with major or minor in Marketing, Business, Communications, Hospitality/Event Management, or related degree.
Minimum junior level.
To be eligible must be currently enrolled as a fulltime student (minimum 12 credit hours).
Maintained 3.0 or above cumulative GPA.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with sweepstakes, promotions, or Brand Ambassador preferred.
Involvement in formulating a strategy for events or promotions preferred.
Experience managing a project from concept to completion preferred.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as a part of a Team.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and complete assignments with tight deadlines.
